OK This One's The Real Update Post Now

I am very tired and I can just feel it in my bones that this week is going to take a lot out of me already--I'm going to probably have to ask my friend who commissioned me for a character design sheet for an extension, since I've gotten slammed by IRL work (back to back overtime almost every day, baybee! Dear clients, please shut the fuck up and read your emails quietly!)

on top of that

+  I'm doing extra copywriting/project management work for a major video collab

+  I've got an online doujinshi event coming up that I'm frankly kind of dreading now because I haven't been able to work on any art for a good while, and I'm not feeling particularly motivated for the fandom it's for atm, and I need to figure out how to set up the free filesharing store on itch so I can at least Bring Something To The Thing I Applied And Paid For An Online Space For

Despite that, even though streaming also takes a lot of energy and time (I'm my own artist, editor, moderator, copywriter and promoter and the work never fucking ends ow my bones), I've found it really, really good as an outlet for creativity + expression + unwinding in a different way. I'm able to actually work with people who are pleasant to be around, clicked with, and actually made friends with, as well as meet and reach out to ppl who are in different interesting communities such as niche retro gaming, indie devs and speedrunners.

This is a lot of words to say that I'm glad I did the spontaneous collab stream on Monday. Real glad that I got along with the person I collabbed with, looking forward to working w/him more. Def still feeling the effects of it, esp. since I haven't been able to sleep much lately, but it was a Good Idea. Iunno I love drawing and visual arts, always have, but dabbling in this medium I'm not particularly Good At has been a real nice challenge and creatively more stimulating, even though I'm essentially just Playing Game And Saying Funni Joke, lol.

Other things!

-Terranova, the game, has been cleared. I forgot if I mentioned it or not but it's really fucking good, you should go play it right now, and it's a real punch in the gut. Great stuff.

- KinnPorsche La Forte is still good and honestly the extra stuff coming tomorrow and the new episode on Saturday will sustain me this week

-I am still enjoying my time in BL live action drama land. I am continuing to enjoy it by actively not looking at fandom specific stuff or getting too much into the actor/fandom/idol side of things, and that's what I'm going to do as long as I god damn can

- I haven't been able to finish the Kaito Files DLC or make much headway thru Little Mushroom yet o h n o . I just need, like, time to do so

- Donbros saikou and I am looking forward to catching up with the latest episode tomorrow

Hopefully the weather cools off a bit because I need to catch up on some sleep, for sure. Gotta get enough energy for the stuff planned and get some time to c h i l l o u t too wwwww.
